A decade after the last Evil Dead movie, we know fans are hungry to feast on the writer-director Lee Croninrevival, The Evil Dead Rise. Luckily for the people of Los Angeles, you won’t need a Necronimicon to summon those Deadites because Collider is teaming up with Warner Bros. to offer free early viewing! Not only will you have the opportunity to see the carnage a week before its wide release, our own Perry Nemiroff will moderate the Q&A after the show with the stars Alyssa Sutherland And Lily Sullivan. In addition, all attendees receive free popcorn, soda, The Evil Dead Rise mini bathtubs and temporary tattoos!

After SXSW’s early reaction calling the record “rude”, “fucking mean”, it would be a shame to miss this opportunity. Executive Producer of the Original Trilogy Sam Raimi And Bruce Campbell, The Evil Dead Rise is another standalone installment in the franchise that focuses on two sisters, Ellie (Sutherland) and Beth (Lily), and takes the bloody battle from a cabin in the woods to the big city. In an interview with Campbell, he tells us that Cronin “brings a certain DNA of darkness.” Height when Ellie is possessed by ruthless demons, putting her entire family in danger. Campbell continues that viewers will be “…completely shaken to the core.” [their] existence.”

Following the screening, Sutherland and Sullivan will join Perry for a Q&A to uncover an hour and a half of pure madness. Come prepared and ready with your own questions, because we will also open this to the audience!
