The story is full of fantastic secondary characters, one of which is Griffin (Adam Scott). Griffin is one of the many bullies featured in the series and is known for his rivalry with fans’ favorite high school teacher Mr. Feeney (William Daniels). Scott is perfect for the role, using his wits and manipulation to deliver his bullying rather than the brutality of the other bullies on the show. Griffin was the starting point in Scott’s career, this small role in the Disney sitcom is very interesting to revisit years later.
Mark S. in “Severance”
We might well one day look back on Scott’s career and see Severance as his main achievement. Severance This is a sci-fi thriller in which the minds of the characters are altered to separate work and home life. The story follows Mark S. (Adam Scott) as he begins to unravel the mysteries of a new technology. The beauty of Scott’s acting is that he portrays Mark both during and after work hours. The separation of work and life creates two completely different people.
Ben Wyatt in “Parks and Recreation”
Parks and recreation areas follows public servant and Deputy Director of Parks and Recreation Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler). Leslie is a strong believer in local government and the series will take us through her many trials to prove the power of local government. In the show’s second season finale, everything changes when government auditors Ben Wyatt (Adam Scott) and Chris Treger (Rob Lowe), come check the budget. What was originally supposed to be a small role for Scott proved to be career-defining, as his character was incredibly popular, and he ended up staying the rest of the series as a calzone-loving nerd.
Tom Engel in Krampus (2015)
Christmas was not the best for the Engel family. The family struggles to be close to each other, and when the youngest, Max (MJ Anthony), being bullied for believing in Santa, he accidentally summons the fabulous demon Krampus to their house. Adam Scott plays Tom Engel, the father of the family. Krampus is the only real horror movie on the list, and Scott does a fantastic job of playing elements of a dysfunctional family while maintaining the tension that comes with being chased by a Christmas monster.
Derek in ‘Step Brothers’ (2008)
This is another of Adam Scott’s smaller roles, but perhaps the one that made him most famous. If Boy meets the world where a small audience was introduced to Scott’s comedic talents, then half brothers here you see an actor who was destined to play in several sitcoms. half brothers follows Brennan Huff (Will Ferrell) and Dale Dobuck (John S. Reilly) when they are forced to become roommates when their parents get married. Dale’s younger and much more successful brother Derek (Adam Scott) shows up with his wife and makes fun of him. Scott conjured up his bully mentality from Boy meets the world in this, he poses as the annoying and successful big brother.
Henry Pollard in Party Down
A group of actors move to Hollywood with dreams of being successful, but end up becoming a caterer. Henry Pollard (Adam Scott) quit acting after starring in a beer commercial that brought him some fame but ultimately ruined his career. party down was Adam Scott’s first major lead role, and you can see how his continued success could have been predicted in the film. The attraction of the film is that the actors use their skills for different professions.
Ed McKenzie in Big Little Lies
Big little lies follows five women after they become involved in a mysterious murder plot after a single mother moves into their upper-class beach town. Adam Scott plays Ed Mackenzie, the stable husband of protagonist Madeleine Mackenzie (Reese Witherspoon). Scott’s reserved personality contrasts with the rest of the cast, making him one of the most prominent supporting characters as Ed and Madeline deal with their family issues.
Jason Fryman in Friends with Kids (2011)
Friends with children is a clever opposite of the typical romantic comedy in which two friends, Jason Fryman (Adam Scott) and Julie Keller (Jennifer Westfeldt), decide to have a baby together while maintaining a platonic relationship. Jason and Julie are lifelong friends, but when they see people around them struggling with relationships after having kids, they decide to get them together to avoid the risk of the kids ruining the relationship. While the concept may be hard to believe, the chemistry between the entire cast, especially Scott and Westfeldt, makes the concept believable.
Caleb Sinclair in ‘The Vicious Kind’ (2009)
vicious view is a study of complex family dynamics. Caleb Sinclair (Adam Scott) tries to warn his brother Peter (Alex Frost) walk away from his new girlfriend Emma (Brittany Snow) when he brings her home for Thanksgiving. However, as the holiday continues, Caleb begins to fall in love with Emma. This is one of the first dramatic roles that Scott takes on and here you can see the many elements in his acting that lead to his success. Gap.

Four episodes of Adam Scott’s mockumentary miniseries attempted to recreate the iconic beginnings of the ’80s television show. Each episode of the series was built as a standalone story, broadcast at intervals of several months, all with the goal of recreating the magic of 80s television. With many guest stars including Paul Ruddamy Poehler, Nick KrollAnd Jon Hamm, The Greatest Event in TV History this is a good love letter to old TV. Adam Scott plays many characters in the series, from recreating the beginning Simon and Simon To Too close for comfort.
Ben in Hot American Summer: Ten Years On (2017)
Just like we’re so excited to be back party downAdam Scott joins iconic classic cast Humid hot American summer for the tenth anniversary with a three and a half hour mini-series. Replacement Bradley Cooper As Ben, Adam Scott fits in perfectly with the chaotic nature of the cast. Even though Scott had ample opportunity to fill in Cooper’s absence, the film acknowledges the change, tying it to the procedure Ben received over a ten-year hiatus.
