Black Panther: Wakanda Forever finally arrived on Disney+ earlier this month, and it’s already made a splash on the streaming service. As of February 6, the Marvel Feature is the most watched Marvel premiere on Disney+. The position is based on the number of hours watched during the first five days on the streamer.
Black Panther The sequel takes place after the death of King T’Challa (the last Chadwick Boseman) death. Like Shuri (Letitia Wright) and Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett) cope with their grief, they must also protect Wakanda from a new threat: Namor (Tenoch Huerta Mejia) and its underwater kingdom Talokan. So Shuri and the queen team up with Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o), Okoye (Danai Gurira), technical genius Riri Williams (Dominic) and FBI agent Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) to protect the nation and propel it towards a new future.
Along with the feature itself, fans have plenty of behind-the-scenes content to look forward to. Starting February 8, fans can learn about the making of the movie from BTS videos and interviews on Assembled: The Making of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. February 22 get to know the music better Wakanda forever V Voices Rising: Music of Wakandan Forever. Fans can also listen to the film’s official podcast, written and hosted by Ta-Nehisi Coates.

Future Black Panther
Wakanda forever has officially closed Phase 4 of the MCU, but the future of Wakandans doesn’t necessarily end there. Although there has been no official confirmation from Marvel Studios, the third Black Panther and a potential spin-off has already been teased. When talking with DiversityWright has teased that a third film is in development, although it will be quite a while before fans see it. Similarly, Gurira hinted at the spin-off Okoye, saying that she was allowed to “softly hint” at it. For now, however, the closest fans will get in the near future is the upcoming Iron heart the episode was dedicated to Riri, who was featured in Wakanda forever.
