Despite their high quality and stardom, these films are still actively promoted in one way or another, even years after their release, and have gradually entered modern pop culture.
Meanwhile, there are some great movies on the same subject that don’t get the same amount of attention and go unnoticed. Many scam events await viewers to enjoy films from the 1970s to the latest.
“Kajillionaire” (2020)

‘Maverick’ (1994)
Based on the 1957–1962 television series of the same name. Maverick follows protagonist Bret Maverick, played by Mel Gibson, a player who prefers to deceive others in order to fight them. As he tries to win and collect some debts, he then teams up with a female gambler who has a wonderful, albeit fake, Southern accent as they both try to get into the game.
As Maverick never takes himself too seriously, the atmosphere sets for serious pleasure. What’s more, this endearing homage to the hit western comedy television series has lost a good opportunity for razor-sharp parody, despite the efforts of master screenwriter William Goldman.
“Rogue Agent” (2022)

They recruit their staunch mentor Frank (Michael McKean) to “play” God when the three try to pull off the biggest deception of their lives.

“Men with Matches” (2003)

When Roy’s teenage daughter unexpectedly shows up, she wants to know more about her father. Simultaneously, Roy and Frank engage in their most epic deception, and Roy has a panic attack.
With events that are both poignant and lyrical, the film offers some double crosses that the best scam films deserve. It is also one of Cage’s finest performances, blending the comedic elements of his earlier roles with the seriousness of his later ones.
‘Curly Sue’ (1991)

‘Paper Moon’ (1973)

“Dirty Scoundrels” (1988)
Dirty rascals follows an educated and intelligent British con man named Lawrence Jamieson (Michael Caine) who works in Beaumont-sur-Mer on the French Riviera, and small-time American swindler Freddie Benson (Steve Martin). They make a bet as Lawrence doesn’t want to cede his territory to Freddie: whoever can swindle $50,000 out of the chosen stamp first wins and the other must leave town.
The film is a superb combination of comedy with a rogue theme filled with outlandish behavior in the midst of the breathtaking beauty of the French Riviera. Martin and Kane also enhance the viewing experience because they have amazing chemistry and deliver a great comic moment in this cute but low-quality comedy.
“Good Liar” (2019)

Mirren and McKellen are perfect stage partners as they not only push the story forward but also add depth and humor to it. good liar contains all the elements you need to make your heart beat faster, including blackmail, murder, identity theft and even online dating, as well as funny cheating.
