Moviegoers have always loved watching detective films as a treat, as they can practice their sleuth abilities as well as experience the thrill along with the characters. Without a detective story that guides viewers along the path to uncovering the truth and gives the film a sense of morality or moral ambiguity, a good detective film cannot work.

In addition to being a woman, her courage, perseverance, and wit set her apart from her male counterparts and make her a tough detective.

There are many different images of Holmes on the big screen, but Robert Downey Jr.is distinctive. Regardless of which version, every actor who portrays Holmes on screen demonstrates his skill in solving crimes with reason and close observation, and displays both his quirkiness and his huge ego, making him a wonderful and effective detective.

Gittes is a charmingly flawed man who makes mistakes and gets caught up in a complex plot centered on Los Angeles’ perpetually corrupt Chinatown. Despite all his faults, Gittes is still a decent and caring detective who will do his best to get to the bottom of the truth.
