As we keep waiting for the release Olivia Wildesecond year director’s film, Don’t worry dear, the film’s distributor Warner Bros continues to whet our appetites with a new animated poster that has just been shared on its official Twitter page. Set in the utopian city of Victory, the psychological thriller centers on the seemingly perfect couple Alice (Florence Pugh) and Jack Chambers (Harry Styles). Their paradise faces destruction when Alice begins to suspect that there is more to their small, secluded town than meets the eye.
Frightening background music plays through the 9-second poster, in which the main characters Alice and Jack lie in bed in a strong embrace. The romantic scene is punctuated by a frightening scene where mysterious black and white creatures sneak up on the camera, clearly alluding to the mystery lurking beneath the surface of the seemingly perfect Victory City. The words “Are You Ready to Live the Life You Deserve” are written in the center of the poster, with its September 23 release date listed directly below it. Now that the marketing of the film is in full swing, director and producer Wilde and Pugh have posted the clip on their social media pages.
The romantic scene featured in the animated poster is part of a more detailed 3-minute trailer previously released by Warner Bros. the men working for Project Victory begin to question the secretive nature of their husband’s work in a top-secret organization. Alice’s curiosity leads to mysterious discoveries that not only unsettle her, but also make her look for a way out of Victory.
Don’t worry dear Olivia Wilde is directing a feature film for the second time after the huge success of her directorial debut. Book store which was released in 2019. The coming-of-age comedy film received unblemished critical reviews and boasts an impressive 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Wilde received the Independent Spirit Award for Best Feature Film, as well as several other awards.
