As the EY Future Consumer Index 2023 study shows, Poles are increasingly incorporating sustainability principles into their daily lives. Almost 80% of respondents say they prefer to repair household appliances than replace them with new ones.

Eco forced?

An important reason why we are becoming greener is the rising cost of living. We declare care for the environment, but the main factor in making a purchase decision is the price.

As many as 82 percent of those surveyed consider organic products too expensive, and 65% he says that it is the high price that deters them from buying them. Despite this, consumers expect companies to take a proactive approach to sustainability. As many as 86 percent of respondents want companies to be leaders in a sustainable future. Slightly less, because 85 percent say that suppliers must meet high standards of social and environmental practices. This forces companies to adapt to new trends and change their business strategies. They must not only produce high-quality products, but also ensure sustainable and socially responsible production.
