Nothing amuses me more than drivers complaining that there are (finally) serious penalties for serious violations of the law on the road.
I even understand the shock after 30 years of developing the habit that the law is the law, and on the road you don’t have to reckon with the law. However, what leaked out on September 17 — when the second part of the recidivism reform and 15 penalty points for especially serious offenses came into force — exceeded my wildest expectations.
