“The army is not so big”: Danilov denied the numbers of losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced in the West

The data of Western journalists that about 70,000 Ukrainian servicemen died during the full-scale war are not true. This was stated Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov in an interview with Welt.

“As for our losses, this account does not correspond to reality at all. Our army was not at all so large to talk about the losses of 70 thousand soldiers.- he said.

Danilov noted that those who voice such figures do not have accurate information about the situation in Ukraine.

“We have been monitoring all the processes taking place on our territory every day since February 24, 2022. I don’t understand why respected journalists are spreading such disinformation about our losses,” added the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.

Recall that in mid-August, the American press wrote that the total number of soldiers killed or wounded in the Russian war against Ukraine amounted to about 500 thousand people. According to them, Russia lost about 120 thousand invaders killed and 170-180 thousand wounded. In Ukraine, according to the American media, about 70 thousand defenders were killed and another 100-120 thousand were injured.

As wrote, earlier analysts called the ratio of losses of Ukraine and Russia in the war.

According to Danilov, a new approved mobilization plan is being implemented in Ukraine every two months. The military are appealing to carry out appropriate procedures through the Security Council meeting in order for the process to continue.

Earlier, military medic Gleb Bityukov frankly told how his brothers-in-arms died, who never drank a latte with coconut milk and did not know how to download rights.
