In the Lviv region, a man burned his paralyzed wife alive

Recently, law enforcement officers of the Kiev region reported that an indictment was sent to the court on the fact of the murder of a 66-year-old resident of Irpen by her partner - a man doused with gasoline and set fire to a woman. Such was the ending of a quarrel over jealousy.

And in the Lviv region, a 62-year-old resident of a village in the Yavorovsky district took the life of his bedridden wife in the same way. “To get rid of his wife, who could not move, the man staged a fire - doused the woman and the room in which her bed stood with gasoline and set it on fire”- Reported to the GUNP in the Lviv region.

The tragedy occurred on May 20 at about nine o’clock in the morning. The fire was noticed by neighbors who carried the woman out of the burning house to the street and called rescuers. The victim was hospitalized with severe burns, but she died from her injuries in the intensive care unit.

The man was informed of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under paragraph 4 of part 2 of Art. 115 (Deliberate murder committed with particular cruelty) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article is imprisonment from ten to fifteen years or life imprisonment.

The suspect also suffered burns and is in the hospital. Soon the court will choose a measure of restraint for him.

Earlier it was reported that in the Nikolaev region a man who brutally killed an 84-year-old mother-in-law was sentenced to 14 years in prison. A 64-year-old man, while in a state of intoxication, poured gasoline on a woman during an argument and set her on fire.
