Despite the war and the difficult economic situation, medical workers providing emergency and specialized medical care in the front-line territories and in the war zone will increase the minimum wage.
This was reported in the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
It is about setting a new salary level for doctors, pharmacists, rehabilitation specialists, nurses and junior medical workers working in dangerous conditions near the front line.
The regulation applies to medical workers in health care institutions who have a contract with the National Health Service. The Ministry of Health noted that the decision will be valid until the end of 2023.
According to the order of the Ministry of Reintegration, in the territories of active hostilities, wages are set at a level not less than:
- UAH 28 thousand - for doctors, pharmacists, healthcare professionals and professionals with higher non-medical education in healthcare;
- 18 thousand hryvnia - for nurses and nurses;
- 9 thousand hryvnia - for junior medical workers.
In the territories of possible hostilities (front-line territories), according to the order of the Ministry of Reintegration, wages are set at a level of at least:
- UAH 23 thousand - for doctors, pharmacists, healthcare professionals and professionals with higher non-medical education in the field of healthcare;
