We clean the washing machine from mold: you need only two ingredients

Many housewives use a washing machine almost every day, especially if there are children in the family. To wash children’s things, mothers often use folk remedies that restore the shine of colored items and soften clothes.

Unfortunately, not every housewife has time to regularly clean the washer, so sediment can accumulate there. And then because of it, mold, fungus and an unpleasant odor can appear.

1. Step one: run the washing machine with vinegar. Select a wash cycle with hot water temperature, add 4 cups of white vinegar and start washing. As soon as the machine is completely filled with liquid, stop it and let it stand for about an hour. Vinegar will help clean the walls of the washing machine from scale and sediment.

2. Step two: Clean the dispenser and washing machine from the outside.
The powder dispenser drawer is the part of the washing machine that everyone forgets about. It must be thoroughly cleaned with a toothbrush and water with vinegar. Do not forget to wipe the exterior walls of the car with vinegar.

3. Step three: turn on the washing machine again.
If it’s already been an hour since you poured vinegar into the machine, run the cycle again to let it finish washing. Wait for the water to completely glass.

4. Step Four: add baking soda
It is impossible to make high-quality cleaning with vinegar alone - baking soda is also needed. Immediately, when the wash cycle with vinegar is over, you need to start the next one. Pour 1 glass of soda into the drum of the machine, add a few drops of essential oil of your choice (thyme, oregano, lavender, cloves, sage). Select the longest wash cycle with high water temperature and start.

After finishing washing, open the lid of the washing machine and let it dry completely inside.
