The SBU detained an employee of one of the Kramatorsk factories, who was correcting Russian missile strikes on the city, which was constantly under enemy fire.
“The security service detained an enemy informant who was gathering intelligence about the locations of the Defense Forces and correcting Russian shelling of social institutions in the Donetsk region. The SBU established that it was on his tip that the invaders launched a missile attack on a school in Kramatorsk on March 5 this year. In addition, he reconnoitred the combat positions of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the frontline areas of the region.the SBU said in a statement.
The curators of the traitor were especially interested in the coordinates of the location of long-range foreign weapons of the Ukrainian troops. He was detained while performing an enemy reconnaissance mission.
The Office of the Prosecutor General added that in March 2023, a resident of Kramatorsk corresponded on Telegram with the moderator of one of the local pro-Russian groups created to receive military intelligence information. In it, the man sent data on the location of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the city. He was informed about the suspicion of unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement and location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Part 3, Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The court chose a measure of restraint for the spotter in the form of detention.
Earlier, the security service exposed two residents of Kramatorsk as collaborating with the enemy. One of them is a nurse from the Territorial Defense Unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
