The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which on March 20 supported the resignation of three ministers, voted for a draft law according to which additional payments will be introduced in the country in case of disability or death due to war
According to the parliament, a total of 240 people’s deputies voted for this draft law. The document provides for a one-time cash payment to people who died or were injured while performing their duties during the period of martial law - journalists, employees of critical infrastructure facilities and authorized to perform the functions of the state and local government, or members of their families.
One million hryvnias will be paid in case of death of a person, from UAH 200,000 to UAH 800,000 - in case of establishing a disability group from III to I.
