Curfew has been reduced in Kyiv and alcohol sales have been extended

From March 26, 2023, a curfew in Kyiv will be in effect from 00:00 to 05:00, public transport and shops will also change their working hours - they will work longer.

This decision was made in the CMVA. “Reducing the duration of the curfew was the next, consistent decision after the improvement of the engineered fencing system in the capital. Expect new changes soon, which will make the life of Kyivans and guests of the city more comfortable and civilized. As much as the war and the danger situation now allows. And already from March 27, alcoholic beverages will be allowed to be sold in the capital’s stores and retail chains from 11:00 to 21:00. The corresponding decision was made by the Council of Defense of the city of Kyiv. It is noted that this will help the capital’s business, and will also help increase revenues to the state and local budgets and prevent the illegal circulation of alcoholic beverages.

Recall that after the start of a large-scale invasion of shops, it was forbidden to sell alcohol. Permission for this was granted only in April after the Rashists were thrown back from the capital. At first, alcoholic drinks were allowed to be bought until 16:00, and then until 19:00.
