The SBU “in hot pursuit” detained a Russian agent who corrected the missile strikes on Kharkov on February 5. It turned out to be a local resident.

“The traitor secretly recorded the locations of the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, checkpoints and critical infrastructure facilities on the territory of the Kharkiv region and handed them over to representatives of the enemy. Rashists used these locations as potential targets for missile attacks. Moreover, after the “arrivals”, they set this agent the task of recording and transmitting the results of the hits to them. ”- Report in the Ukrainian special service.

SBU employees documented the facts of the intelligence and subversive activities of an enemy agent, his involvement in the recent missile attacks on a residential building and a higher educational institution in Kharkov, and also identified his Russian curators.

As the investigation found out, the enemy agent communicated with the curator through electronic communication channels with strict observance of all conspiracy measures. On the “task” the traitor went without mobile phones, trying, as he thought, to avoid being tracked. The secret service officers detained him directly during the execution of the next task of the enemy - collecting information on the results of rocket attacks on one of the city’s higher educational institutions.

The detainee was informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (state treason committed under martial law). The issue of choosing a measure of restraint in the form of detention is being decided.

Recall that on February 7, the enemy again hit Kharkov with S-300 missiles. The shelling, in particular, hit an industrial enterprise and Central Park. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or injuries.
