I am currently working as a news website author at Daily News Hack. I mostly cover trending news and have been doing so for quite some time now. I have always had a keen interest in current affairs and the world around me, which is what led me to my current job. I firmly believe that the best way to learn about something is by doing it yourself and that is why I love my job so much. It allows me to be constantly learning about new things and then sharing that knowledge with others. I am also a big believer in the power of networking and building relationships. I think that LinkedIn is a great platform for connecting with like-minded people from all over the world.

The outgoing year turned out to be very unfortunate for companies that built their business on the development of computer technology, the Internet and social networks. This negatively affected the capitals of the richest people in the world. As FACTS has already reported, Elon Musk has lost first place in the ranking of the top rich people according to Forbes magazine.

On Tuesday, December 27, Bloomberg summed up the results of 2022. And they turned out to be extremely unpleasant not only for Musk. However, he lost more in a year than anyone else on the list of billionaires. Elon became poorer by 140 billion dollars!

In January of this year, his fortune was estimated at an incredible amount - $ 270 billion. According to Bloomberg, on December 27, Musk is “worth” 130 billion. So far, this allows him to take second place in the ranking of the richest people on the planet.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, recently Musk’s main competitor, slipped to sixth place by the end of the year. His losses amounted to $86.3 billion. As of December 27, his capital is estimated at $106 billion.

Mark Zuckerberg completely flew out not only from the top ten of the rating, but also from the top twenty. At the beginning of the year, the CEO and major shareholder of Meta, which includes the social network Facebook, owned $125.5 billion in capital. His losses amounted to 81.1 billion dollars. Now Zuckerberg’s fortune is estimated at 44.4 billion, which allowed him to take only 25th place in the ranking.

The creators of Google also suffered tangible damage. Larry Page lost $46.1 billion in a year. With a capital of 82.3 billion, he barely caught on in 10th place. Sergey Brin, whose losses were slightly less ($44.8 billion), is in 11th place with a net worth of $78.8 billion.

Bill Gates is in fourth place with a net worth of $109 billion. He became poorer than 28.6 billion.

The first place in the Bloomberg rating is now occupied by the Frenchman Bernard Arnault. His capital is estimated at 163 billion dollars.

Indian businessman Gautam Adani came in third with $116 billion. For the year he became richer by 39.9 billion dollars.
