I am currently working as a news website author at Daily News Hack. I mostly cover trending news and have been doing so for quite some time now. I have always had a keen interest in current affairs and the world around me, which is what led me to my current job. I firmly believe that the best way to learn about something is by doing it yourself and that is why I love my job so much. It allows me to be constantly learning about new things and then sharing that knowledge with others. I am also a big believer in the power of networking and building relationships. I think that LinkedIn is a great platform for connecting with like-minded people from all over the world.

The Serbian Football Federation, whose national team was eliminated from the 2022 World Cup after losing to Switzerland, has been punished by FIFA for provocative actions during the tournament. The team’s players hung a flag in the dressing room with the phrase “Do not give up!”, which depicted Kosovo as part of Serbia, reports AP News. Moreover, Serbian fans placed the same banner in the stands.

The Kosovars reacted in hot pursuit to the provocation of the “friends of Russia” and filed a complaint with FIFA. As a result, the International Football Federation fined the Serbs 20 thousand Swiss francs (21.3 thousand dollars).

At the same time, the chanting of Serbian fans before the game with Brazil about their friendship and brotherhood with Russia and other provocations remained without the attention of world football bosses. The Balkans openly humiliated NATO and supported the war crimes of the aggressor country, as well as the annexation of Ukrainian territories.

An even larger fine - 50,000 Swiss francs (53,000 dollars), according to the decision of FIFA, will be paid by the Croatian Football Federation (as you know, the “checkered” on December 9 will play in the quarterfinals of the 2022 World Cup against Brazil). During the match of the 2nd round of the group stage of the 2022 World Cup Croatia - Canada (4: 1), Balkan fans insulted and mocked Canadian goalkeeper Milan Boryan, who has Serbian roots.

Fans of the “checkered” hung a banner in the stands. It featured the logo of the American company John Deere, whose slogan is: “Nothing runs like Deere.” The word “Deere” (the name of the founder) alludes to the deer (a deer) depicted on the company logo.

Fans of Croatia wrote on the banner “Knin-95” and instead of the inscription Deere placed the name of Boryan. The following phrase came out: “Knin-95. Nothing runs like Boryan.” Knin is the hometown of the Canadian national team goalkeeper, and the banner itself is a reference to the victorious Operation Storm for the Croats against the separatists in 1995, as a result of which Milan Borjan, like most Serbs from Croatia, were forced to leave their homes.

The Saudi Arabia Football Federation also received a $30,000 fine for a large number of yellow cards in matches against Argentina (2:1) and Mexico (1:2).

Earlier, FACTS reported that the 2022 World Cup match involving Cristiano Ronaldo was interrupted by a man with a trident on his hand.
