On Monday, December 5, the Air Defense Forces shot down more than 60 out of more than 70 missiles fired by the occupiers on the territory of Ukraine. This was reported in the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary information, 38 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles were launched from eight Tu-95ms strategic aircraft from the Caspian Sea and Volgodonsk, Rostov Region.
The enemy also launched a strike with 22 Caliber cruise missiles from ships of the Black Sea Fleet.
President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the Ukrainian military for their excellent work. He also said words of gratitude to the power engineers who, after the missile attack, began restoration work on damaged critical infrastructure facilities.
“I want to thank the air defense forces, our power engineers and our people. Air defense - most of the missiles were shot down, power engineers have already begun to restore light, our people never give up.the president said.
Recall that today the Russian invaders attacked almost the entire territory of Ukraine with missiles. In particular, 9 missiles were shot down in the sky over Kiev. Odessa as a result of the attack was left without water and electricity. Parts of an enemy rocket were also found there without electricity.
Russia does not stop trying to destroy Ukraine’s critical infrastructure.
