The law on the state budget for 2023, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada in record time, does not provide for an increase in the subsistence minimum and the minimum wage.
That is, they remind TSN, the minimum old-age pension will not change either - it will amount to 2093 UAH.
However, the indexation of pensions from March 1 is still planned. Preliminarily, we are talking about a 5% increase.
In 2023, Ukrainians with 30 years of insurance experience will be able to apply for a retirement pension at the age of 60, at 63 years old - with at least 20 years of insurance experience, and at 65 years old - at least 15 years.
As for pensions for the liquidators of the Chernobyl disaster, now they are tied to the average salary in Ukraine. The average salary in the country for 2021 was UAH 12,993.56, that is, a disabled person of group I must have a pension for all allowances not lower than this amount, that is, 100%. For persons with disability group II, the pension is set at a rate of at least 80% of the specified amount, and for persons with disability group III - 60%.
In February 2023, the Pension Fund must calculate the average salary for 2022. So from March 1, 2023, an automatic recalculation of the minimum pensions of Chernobyl victims will take place.
Recall that all social budget expenditures related to the payment of pensions, salaries to state employees, benefits to internally displaced persons and people with disabilities are financed by donors - the United States, Canada and the EU countries. Ukraine will also receive 18 billion euros from the EU in 2023 for restoration.
