Ukraine has changed the procedure for assigning and paying housing subsidies. The government adopted a new resolution #1041 of 16 September on this issue. Yevhen Kapinus, Chairman of the Board of the Pension Fund, spoke about this on the air of Ukrainian Radio.
According to him, the Pension Fund will pay subsidies from October 1, 2022, and from December 1, will assign subsidies.
Documents for the appointment of subsidies should be submitted to:
- Department for social protection of the population,
- local authorities,
- Centers for the provision of administrative services at the registered / declared place of residence (tenants, internally displaced persons - at the actual place of residence),
- bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine - regardless of the place of residence.
The application and declaration can be sent to:
- by mail;
- through the web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund;
- mobile application of the Pension Fund;
- Portal “Action”,
- official website of the Ministry of Social Policy or information systems of local governments;
- information systems of the Ministry of Social Policy (for those who have a CEP - a qualified certificate of electronic signature).
The document states that all structural units of the social protection of the population will transfer to the Pension Fund authorities packages of documents on applying for housing subsidies.
