The James Webb Space Telescope has photographed a star-forming space known as the Tarantula Nebula, or 30 Doradus.
According to Space.com, thousands of never-before-seen young stars have been seen using the telescope’s high-resolution infrared instruments.
The photo shows gas and dust in the nebula and distant galaxies in the background.
The Tarantula Nebula is so named because of its arachnid appearance. It is located 161,000 light years away in the Large Magellanic Cloud. It is the brightest star-forming space in the galaxies closest to the Milky Way, known as the Local Group.
Recall that earlier “James Webb” showed detailed pictures of the universe.
