At the tournament in Nagoya, the white-reds will play four matches. They have already won the first against France 3-1, and now they will play with Iran, Bulgaria and Serbia.
League of Nations: Poles win first leg
The Polish national team won its first important match against France with a score of 3:1. The first set was won by the wards of Nikola Grbic 25:23. In the second set, the tricolors responded in kind. The third set was one of the most intense in history.
The Poles won 35:33 and were one step away from the final triumph. Clearly defeated rivals lost 25:15 in the fourth set, and thanks to this, our volleyball players were able to enjoy their first triumph in the League of Nations.

The last time Byalo-Chervoni met with Iran was in August last year during the Hubert Jerzy Wagner Memorial. The Poles then won 3-0, which may be a good omen for Thursday’s meeting, but the Iranians certainly don’t intend to give up without a fight.
