The volleyball players from Jastrzebie-Zdrój showed absolute superiority in the third match, winning 3-0 (25:13, 25:14, 25:13) and securing the title of Polish champion in the 2022/23 season. Jakub Popivchak said he didn’t expect them to be able to beat ZAKSA so smoothly, who they have yet to face in the Champions League final (May 20).
“Everyone around me said that it would happen, and I was more skeptical. I remembered that me and my 13 friends had to go on the field and live up to expectations. Thanks to everyone for what they did today because it was great volleyball. We had no illusions that this year we were better in the league, - said the libero of the Polish champions.
