Must read

The Polish national team is fighting a plague of injuries. Team spokesman Jakub Kwiatkowski confirmed that another member had left the group. This is the third player who will not play against the Czech Republic and Albania.

Fernando Santos has been struggling since the beginning of his adventure with the Vistula River team because many of the staff are recovering from injuries and he has had to make bold decisions. Immediately after the team was announced for the training camp, we learned about the injuries of Jan Bednarek and Kamil Piotkowski before the upcoming matches. Fortunately, the first one is ready to play. However, Bartosh Bereshinsky will not be there. They were replaced by Bartosz Salamon and Timoteush Pukhach. Now it became known that another player had to leave the squad to deal with the treatment of injury.

Another player leaves the team

Already at the first press conference, during which he was announced as the new coach of the Polish national team, Fernando Santos stated that one of his main goals was to focus on the development of the Polish youth. Already during the appointments for the upcoming matches, he made it clear that these are not words to the wind, because the team included players such as Ben Lederman or Kacper Kozlowski. Unfortunately, it has just become known that the latter is forced to leave the training camp due to injury.

Mechików journalist Blažej Lukaszewski determined that the 19-year-old has already been dropped from the team and will not be counted in upcoming matches. This state of affairs was confirmed by the press secretary of the Polish national team Jakub Kwiatkowski in an interview with Przegląd Sportowy, adding that no player would be appointed to replace Kacper Kozlowski. Thus, 24 players are ready to play in the upcoming matches against the Czech Republic and Albania.
