David Kubacki withdrew from the competition shortly before the finals of the Raw Air series. The Polish Ski Association cited personal reasons as the reason. On Monday, March 20, the jumper explained that his sudden return home was due to his wife being hospitalized for cardiac reasons. “Her condition is serious, the doctors are fighting for her life,” added Kubatsky, who also announced that the season was over for him.
