The Polish national team has successfully started participation in the ongoing World Cup. In the first game, our volleyball players met with Croatia and won with a score of 3:1. Despite this, their game was not perfect, but we can be glad that the wards of Stefan Lavarini showed character, turning the fate of one of the sets. He already seemed like a loser, but we managed to win.

However, the former quarterback warns Byalo-Chervona against being too optimistic. - This victory had to be calculated, because the opponent was absolutely within reach. However, girls should remember that during the matches it is impossible to fall asleep, no matter who is on the other side of the net. Working on concentration throughout the meeting is extremely important. On the other hand, being saved from big trouble also has value, she said.
However, the former Poland defender believes that our team should progress a little faster and improve their results faster. She also laid out exactly what she expects from Lavarini’s volleyball players in terms of what can be achieved during the World Championships now underway.
This is the minimum goal of the Polish team at the World Cup.
- Now the stairs will begin. We have been building this team for quite a long time, at the moment with a new coach we have to patiently wait for the results. Getting out of the group is the minimum for everyone, and I would consider reaching the eighth World Cup a huge success, she explained.
