In the summer, power outages from consumers will be applied last, even if there is a shortage in the energy system of Ukraine.
This was announced by the head of NPC “Ukrenergo” Volodymyr Kudrytsky on the air of the telethon.
“Deficiency, which may be during the summer, does not mean disconnection of consumers. It can be resolved in several ways and the disconnection of consumers is the last in the priority list.- said the head of the company.
According to him, the most obvious way to balance the energy system is to import electricity from EU countries.
The second is to maximize the use of our thermal and hydro generation: those power units that will not be under scheduled repairs or not damaged by Russian rocket attacks.
“We also urge Ukrainian consumers to consume energy resources carefully, especially in the evening hours – and at 7 to 10 pm. Try to transfer consumption from these hours either to night or to daytime hours”- added the head of Ukrenergo.
Recall that as early as June of this year, there may be an increase in electricity tariffs. The cost of current will increase by about 30-40%.
