The armed forces of Ukraine continue to push the Russian invaders out of Ukraine. On September 23, they established control in the village of Yatskivka, Donetsk region, and restored their previously lost positions in the Bakhmut direction. This was stated Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Aleksey Gromov.
“In the course of the assault operations, units of the Defense Forces established control over the settlement of Yatskovka. Our troops are improving their tactical position. So, thanks to the timely regrouping of units of one of the mechanized brigades, the high-quality organization of the battle, we managed to restore the previously lost position and ensure control of positions in the area south of Bakhmut “he said.
According to him, the situation in the Bakhmut direction remains difficult, but controlled. The enemy continues to conduct offensive operations in order to oust the Ukrainian units from their positions. The Armed Forces of Ukraine hold the line despite intense enemy fire.
As wrote, another Russian general became the prey of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Luhansk region.
