Pixar is a popular studio known for all the favorite movies like toy story, Monsters corporation.And WALL-E. Although they worked closely with Disney and were synonymous with the famous company, Pixar has established itself as a great studio in its own right.
Although Pixar recently released elemental - a romantic story between two completely different anthropomorphic elements - the company has not released many romantic films, except for Up And WALL-E. However, Pixar is no stranger to romantic plots, which they tend to excel at. Here are the most romantic Pixar movies to date.
10 ‘Beetle Life’ (1998)
Beetle life is one of the oldest Pixar films to date. He follows an ant named Flik (Dave Foley) who creates inventions to speed up the gathering of food. However, he is a clumsy ant that gets him and the colony into trouble with the grasshoppers. He then finds warriors who help fight off the grasshoppers from the colony.
From the very beginning, it is clear that Flik is in love with Princess Atta (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) as he tries to impress her with his inventions. Things get even more clear and romantic towards the end when Princess Atta sacrifices her life to save Flick from Hopper (Kevin Spacey) - the leader of the grasshoppers - when no one else could get to him. Acts of love at such moments make them a good couple and one of Pixar’s romantic movies.
9 ‘Ratatouille’ (2007)
Ratatouille The audience knows and loves this movie. This movie follows RemyPatton Oswalt), a strangely passionate rat with dreams and aspirations. Unlike his fellow rats, and to his father’s dismay, Remy is far from the norm, and he is passionate about food - and taste in particular - following in the footsteps of Auguste Gusteau (Brad Garrett).

8 ‘Cars’ (2006)
Now, Cars not a particularly romantic Pixar film, but it has its moments. Cars follow Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson), a racing car that gets lost on the Interstate and stuck in a small town long forgotten since the Interstate was built. Lightning McQueen is stuck in this city until he makes amends for the damage he caused, but along the way, he realizes how wonderful life is outside the race track.
Sally (Bonnie Hunt) and Lightning’s relationship should be remembered, as Sally is the reason for Lightning’s rapid development. Although he is initially vicious towards her for pushing Doc to force Lightning McQueen to redo the road, she shows him the beauty of having quality time on the road rather than saving it.
7 ‘Monsters corporation.’ (2001)
Another Pixar classic, Monsters corporation.follows Sally (John Goodman) and Mike (Billy Crystal) into the world of a corporation of monsters that creates energy from children’s cries. However, both get into a row with their enemy Randal (Steve Buscemi) when they find a girl lost in their world and try to bring her home.

Even when Bob is at his most vulnerable and confesses that he is afraid of losing his family again, Helen assures him that they can handle everything as a family.
5 ‘Toy Story 3’ (2010)
Toy Story 3 follows the toys, WoodyTom Hanks), Hum (Tim Allen), and all the rest, as they are packed and mistakenly sent to kindergarten. Under the impression that Andy wants nothing to do with his toys, the toys decide to make the most of the situation, except for Woody, who knows the truth is Andy wants to keep them. It turns out that for the rest of the toys, life in kindergarten is not without problems, including with the existing hierarchy.
Toys like Buzz try to fight the hierarchy and reveal more information about the other toys that roam the kindergarten. However, in the process, Buzz is reset and he no longer remembers his friends. Later, during the escape and when Buzz regains his senses for a bit, Buzz tries to romance Jesse (Joan Cusack), falling in love with her, as he first did in Toy Story 2. It was even romantic when he and Jesse held each other, approaching sudden death, as if they wanted to spend their last moments together.
4 ‘Toy Story 4’ (2019)
Toy Story 4 follows the toys again for a new adventure. Adopted by BonnieMadeleine McGraw), she takes the toys with her on a trip with her family. She makes a new friend named Forky (Tony Hale), which Woody feels responsible for, because Forky is a source of happiness for Bonnie, just like Woody was for Andy. However, Woody and Forky fall off the van due to the accident and are left behind. They have to go back to Bonnie.
Looking for Bonnie, Woody meets an old friend from toy story And Toy Story 2: Bo Peep. Bo Peep is a modified toy; she became more adventurous, helping other toys and roaming freely so she could be around all the kids instead of saving herself for just one. It’s their reunion where romance is born, like Woody and Bo Peep working as a team again and doing what they love together: bringing happiness to the kids. Even though Woody stayed partly for the same reason as Bo Peep, it was a romantic gesture to show that Woody never wanted to leave Bo Peep.
3 ‘Coco’ (2017)
Coco is a Pixar film dedicated to Dia De Los Muertos. It follows Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez), a boy from a large family descended from Mama Imelda (Alanna Ubach) and her unnamed husband, who abandoned his family for music. As a result, all music is banned in the family, which is a problem for Miguel, who is infatuated with it. After quarreling with his family because of this, he enters the afterlife. He must find his way back, but only on the condition that he receives a blessing from his supposed father, Ernesto de la Cruz. However, Miguel learns more about his family than he expected.
coco is a wonderful film, and although it focuses on Miguel’s journey, Hector - Miguel’s biological father - plays a big role in Miguel’s adventures. What Miguel learns about Hector is that although he originally left his family to pursue music, he was desperate to return home to his loving wife and child Coco. Hector’s love for his wife and child was stronger than his love for music.
2 ‘Up’ (2009)
Up follows Carl (Ed Asner) and Russell (Jordan Nagai) and their adventures in Paradise Falls. Although Carl is not a big fan of Russell and prefers to be alone, due to a mistake, Carl allows Russell to follow him and Carl soon takes over the company.
Up One of Pixar’s most romantic films. The film opens with one of Pixar’s most popular montages of Carl and his wife Ellie growing up, getting married and spending time together. However, Ellie leaves and Carl is left all alone. Only after being forced into a nursing home does Carl take the initiative to travel to Paradise Falls to complete his latest adventure with Ellie, the most romantic gesture to be found in a Pixar movie.
1 ‘WALL-E’ (2008)
WALL-E is a favorite among Pixar viewers. He follows a robot named WALL-E (Ben Burtt), which roams the Earth in isolation. He collects trinkets here and there and keeps them on his ship as a treasure. But one day he meets another robot roaming the Earth named EVA (Elissa Knight). They spend time together until WALL-E reveals the seed to her, which he keeps safe. This causes her to go into some kind of hibernation mode and she is carried onto the ship, with WALL-E clinging to her during the journey.
WALL-E is Pixar’s most romantic film to date. WALL-E is a lonely character who fell in love with EVE, the first sign of life, and he is happy to share his treasures with her. Even when she leaves Earth, he risks everything and joins her without knowing where she is going. Then, at the end, when EVE believes WALL-E is a shell of his former self, she kisses him, eventually bringing WALL-E back. Their love is unmatched in Pixar films.
