It’s undeniable that audiences love a good spy story, and Gal Gadot has a new addition to the genre on the way with an upcoming release Heart of stone from Netflix. An all-new image from the film has been published in exclusive Empire Magazine, showing the action star in the midst of a fiery explosion.
“The scene was even crazier, at a higher altitude,” Gadot said of Empire’s portrayal, “and we dived into the science of it and dialed it up so that a human could do it. This was what I really wanted to make sure we nailed. People can do it.” If there’s one thing that makes or breaks a spy movie, it’s the sets and Heart of stone is shaped to honor the genre with a unique twist.
Additional details remain under wraps for now, but the image does tease with an action-packed spy movie that echoes similar 007 And Mission impossible a franchise that will be a fun and exciting experience this summer. “I realized that the main character of an action movie has an audience,” Gadot said. “I grew up with Bond, Mission and Bourne. I wanted to create a really strong female action film that would suit everyone, rather than a male story that had already been filmed many times.”

Gadot is best known for her role as Wonder Woman in the DC Cinematic Universe. However, now that the District of Columbia is undergoing a major overhaul after James Gunnhiring as co-CEO of DC Studios, Gadot’s future as an iconic character is in doubt. However, the actress still has many roles up her sleeve as Heart of stone could be the start of a new spy franchise directed by Tom Harper previously teased.
Along with the final release Heart of stoneGadot will also star in Disney’s live-action film. Snow White remake as the Evil Queen, opposite Rachel Zegler. The actor is also about to step into the ancient world. Cleopatra in the upcoming film adaptation of the real figure. However, no additional updates to the film have been announced, and with the WGA writers’ strike still in place, the film may not make its big screen debut any time soon. In the meantime, fans of the actress can fully immerse themselves in her new epic spy thriller when Heart of stone debuts on Netflix.
