In the same vein, we are boarding our seagoing ships and sailing back to Polynesia as Disney previously announced a remake of their hit 2016 movie. Moana.
This spring, Disney announced that the film would be re-shot by enlisting the services of Dwayne Johnson who will reprise his role as Maui, the impressive god of the wind and sea. According to the Hollywood Reporter, plans are expanding with Thomas KyleTony Award Winning Broadway Director Hamilton engaged to work on a musical sensation. Although Johnson returns as Maui, a new take on Moana won’t show Auli Cravalho starring.
