What started 11 years ago is finally coming to an end. Invincible veteran mercenary Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) and his retinue will return to Expendables 4 (official name Expend4bles, and why not), the fourth part of the action-thriller franchise. The film is a sequel Expendables 3 and last appearance in the series for Stallone. Expendables 4 stunt director turned director, Scott Waugh. Like all previous parts of the series, the fourth is also based on the original story. Spencer Cohenwho is also co-author of the project script along with Max Adams And John Joseph Connolly. Jason Stathamwho also plays a major role, acts as a producer along with Avi Lerner, Les Weldon, Yariv LernerAnd Kevin King.
From what we’ve gathered, the fourth movie will also obviously be about a group of mercenaries who are about to go on an exciting adventure to right some wrongs. According to official statements from distribution company Lionsgate, Expendables 4 currently scheduled for release on September 22, 2023 in US theaters.

Who will play The Expendables 4?
The Expendables the franchise has always been a homage to the classic action movies of the 80s and 90s and has invariably included an ensemble cast. The fourth part is no different. - Sylvester Stallone as Barney Ross is the leader of the Expendables, who works on government assignments. Barney portrays himself as basically invulnerable, but often regrets his life choices. He is close to his team members and often worries about their safety. He is a skilled pilot, enjoys taking his targets by surprise, and uses a revolver as his signature weapon. The fourth film will be the last appearance of Barney Ross in the series. In any future stories, if any, the focus will likely shift to his close friend and teammate, Lee Christmas.
- Jason Statham as Lee Christmas - A former SAS soldier and Barney’s closest friend, Lee is trusted like no one else for any dangerous mission. Although he often doubts Barney’s decisions, he is very devoted to his friend. Lee is the team’s knife expert who can use knives with incredible speed and accuracy, which is very handy for killing targets. He is also the butt of jokes from his teammates who keep targeting his arrogance, appearance and so on.
- Dolph Lundgren as gunslinger Jensen. Gunslinger is an expert in heavy weapons and an indispensable member of the Expendables.
