A fun, provocative and educational coming-of-age series. sex education returns with a fourth season after the third gave us everything we wanted and more, delving deeper into the complex emotional stories created by writer Lori Nunn to reflect the real complexities of human relationships.
The show is a bright and ludicrous look at the challenges of growth and the problems we all face, but with a special focus on things that people find it difficult to discuss. While the main focus of the series is on a raunchy comedy about Otis Milburn, the teenage son of sex therapist Jean Milburn, and his attempts to make sex education at his school more positive and informative, the characters’ stories are full of meaning, revealing real-life fears and anxieties as teenagers. and adults who can’t wait for more from a brilliant series.

Aime Lou Wood talked about what we can expect in the fourth season, saying:
The characters feel like they are in completely new territory because they are literally. They are at a new school. Many of our feelings are slightly off-center actually also simply because of what happens in the story, namely because they [at] new school. Especially Amy - her best friend in America, she has no boyfriend for the first time in her life, she is studying in a brand new school where she has no friends. So there’s a lot of new stuff for all the characters and I think that makes the series very new.
What is Sex Education season 4 about?
It seems like Amy may have a bigger part of the show in Season 4 as her character embarks on a journey of self-discovery while she is in rehab for sexual abuse in Season 2. In Season 3, Amy talks about how she wants to stay to stand up for her beliefs, become stronger, and discover who she is outside of her relationship. Season 4 will likely show us her path to becoming the strong, outspoken young woman she is destined to be.
In the last episode of Season 3, we see Jackson telling Cal that he is not homosexual and Cal responds by telling him that they can’t be in a relationship with him if he sees them as a girl. To whom will our Romeo entrust his heart next? Repaired Ezeudou who plays the book’s smart and determined Viv, states in an interview that Jackson and Viv “would be the endgame.”
When asked about the fan-fueled theory that the two should be together, she replied:
“I insist that they come together. Because they just fit together! But Viv has a new love interest in her life, and we’ll see what happens. I think they fit well at the moment. Who knows, at other times of the year?
And the part we’re all waiting for - will Otis and Maeve finally get back together? The couple finally confesses their feelings to each other, but at the last moment, Maeve changes her mind about going to the US and leaves for a study abroad program. Will next season start with Maeve studying in the US and facing the challenges of being away from home or another woman returning with a new experience and a new perspective? Will Otis remain faithful while she’s gone? While some hope he doesn’t miss his one chance with Maeve, many fans of the show support Ruby and Otis 2.0. The two also discussed the continuation of the sex clinic they opened in the first season. After the horrendous sex education courses offered in Season 3, we desperately hope to see the clinic reopen before things get out of hand.
