The announcement came in February 2022 when the popular sitcom was ordered a 20-episode revival, or technically its eleventh and twelfth seasons, with the first 10 episodes due in 2023.
For those who are new to the world Futurama, an animated adult sitcom follows Philip Fry, a 25-year-old pizza delivery man who accidentally freezes on New Year’s Eve 1999 and wakes up 1,000 years later. The plot of the sitcom focuses on his life as he starts a new life with a new group of friends. If you are already a fan The Simpsons and other Groening projects, you will surely enjoy Futurama.
