It has already amassed 307 million hours watched worldwide since its debut a couple of weeks ago, which is an impressive statement in today’s TV landscape. As a limited series, there will be only one season. Queen Charlottebut that doesn’t mean Netflix can’t explore new ways to expand Bridgerton universe to meet the needs of the audience.
In the new prequel, the monarch plays India Amarteifio she can be seen growing from a girl from the German provinces to the queen of England, giving viewers a glimpse of the journey that made this possible. Throughout the story, she meets the most important people in her life, including King George (Corey Milkchrist). An old version of the character played in the main series Golda Rochevelappears sporadically throughout the story as the narrative flirts with the timeline presented at the center of the 2020 show.
