Before Peter Jackson became Lord of the Rings Peter Jackson, he was still honing his craft in his home country of New Zealand and dabbled in a wide variety of genres. One of his works of this period is a bloody romantic comedy called walking dead (brain dead). In 1992, Jackson shot this tiny film in New Zealand, which is so different from the Middle Earth trilogy. In fact, if you hadn’t seen the name of the Kiwi-born and raised director in the opening credits, you wouldn’t have believed that the hilarious and carefree walking dead and fantasy epic Lord of the Rings And hobbit franchises were made by the same person. But they do not part for long, as Lionel decides to seek the help of Pakita’s mother, a card reader who specializes in everything related to the dark forces.
