Prelude to Farewell to the Guardians

It’s been six years since the Guardians of the Galaxy had a standalone movie considering how busy they’ve been helping other heroes during the events Avengers: Infinity War And Avengers: Endgame. While these epic blockbusters served as a way to advance their story, it took some time for the band to forge their own path again. That’s why Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Edition was released last year, setting up the characters in their new home and representing the starting point for their upcoming arcs. While details about the sequel’s plot may be scarce, there’s one thing that’s been confirmed: this ending will be emotional.
