New trailer for renfield explores the toxic relationship between the titular servant (Nicholas Hoult) And Nicolas CageCount Dracula. Director Christopher McKay, renfield promises to update the Dracula mythos by shifting the focus away from the vampire lord.
Amazing story in new trailer rainfield. After serving Dracula for 93 years, Renfield falls in love with aggressive traffic cop Rebecca Quincy (Aquafina). This unexpected encounter causes Renfield to reconsider his relationship with the boss, and the footman decides to end his relationship with Dracula once and for all. However, this is easier said than done, as Cage’s version of Dracula is a possessive man who will do anything to keep his toxic relationship alive.
Working with famous characters like Renfield and Dracula through the lens of a breakup movie is already a genius idea. But the new trailer highlights how the upcoming film is filled with breathtaking sets. In a clever twist on the original Dracula story, eating bugs gives Renfield superpowers, allowing him to stand up to crime bosses and werewolves. And since the film is rated R, fans can be sure there will be a lot of bloodshed once the film hits theaters.
Who is associated with renfield?
Original renfield history comes from Robert Kirkmancomic book writer, author of such hits as the walking Dead And invincible. However, the script was written Ryan Ridleywho worked as a writer in Rick and Morty And Community. If that’s not enough to convince you that renfield has the perfect mix of quirky and hilarious, one of McKay’s biggest hits as a director Lego Batman Movie.
On top of that, McKay recently told us he’s getting close to renfield as a direct continuation Tod BrowningX Draculawhich launched the Universal Monsters film series in 1931. Considering how Cage sought inspiration in Christopher Leetake the vampire lord for renfieldwe’re sure to get a fresh and hilarious take on Dracula that will continue to take us through a journey through film history.
Renfield also stars Ben Schwartz, Adrian Martinez, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Bess RussAnd James Moses Black. The film will have its world premiere at the Overlook Film Festival before it gets a wide theatrical release.
