Since its premiere on March 25, 2021 Invincible attracted the attention of viewers from all over the world. The animated series based on the Image Comics comic of the same name may not seem like much at first glance, but fans’ curiosity is growing as the A-List cast grows. An incredible scenario from a comic book series from Robert Kirkman transitions nicely into a Prime Video show. There is comedy, drama, and also heartfelt moments that are truly touching. Although the production of the second season took a significant amount of time, Kerman stated that there will no longer be long breaks between seasons. That being said, given the cliffhanger we left behind in the first season, the hype has had time to marinate. Finally, as season two approaches, fans are eagerly awaiting the return of some of their favorite characters, as well as a glimpse of what’s to come with the new cast members.

Invincible

Invincible is an adult animated superhero series that revolves around 17-year-old Mark Grayson, who is no different from any other guy his age, except that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man. But as Mark develops his own powers, he discovers that his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.

Steven Yeun as Mark Grayson

Steven Yeun became famous for his prominent role in the walking Dead as Glenn Rhee. Since then, he has built himself an amazing career, starring in many important films and winning many awards. It also gave him the opportunity to work on some productions that suited his interests. As Yoon said in an exclusive interview with Collider: “Invincible This is an incredible comic.” It helps that Yoon will reprise the lead role of Mark Grayson in season two. In the season one finale, Mark Grayson’s superhero alter ego, Invincible, is hanging on for dear life after a massive battle between him and Omni-Man. While the rest of the Guardians of Peace repair the damage, Grayson, newly recovered, sets out to reclaim his role as a superhero and make a name for himself as Invincible.

Sandra Oh as Debbie Grayson

Sandra Oh a household name after her Golden Globe Award-winning role in the film. Gray’s Anatomy as well as her role in the film Sideways. Her numerous praises increase Invincible series from her portrayal of Debbie Grayson, Mark’s mother and Nolan Grayson’s wife, or Omni-Man as he is known in the superhero world. Season two will pick up where she left off, abandoned by her angry husband and comforting her son as they strive to rebuild and come to terms with global catastrophe.

J.K. Simmons as Omni-Man/Nolan Grayson

With roles in over 200 films and television shows, J.K. Simmons may be one of the most prolific actors of this era. No stranger to the superhero universe, his iconic roles in Spider-Man trilogy, and Justice League, making him easily recognizable, fitting for his voice work as Nolan Grayson in Invincible. Known in this animated universe as Omni-Man, Grayson ends the first season by including not only his wife and son, but the entire world in which they live. As a Viltrumite from another planet, his mission was to kill his son and expand their empire to Earth; however, he is unable to finish the job due to his love for his family and flies away, leaving them behind. Time will only tell when he returns for season two, but he is expected to make a surprise appearance as he has been confirmed as a cast member for upcoming episodes.

Gillian Jacobs as Atom Eve

Gillian Jacobsknown for her hilarious role in the beloved series Community as well as her recent work in the Netflix miniseries Transatlantic, Looks like he was working overtime like in season 2 Invincible approaches. She portrays Atom Eve, a superhero tested in Guardians of the Globe and also Mark’s friend. Although Eve began to develop a love interest in Mark in the first season, she respects his relationship with Amber and defends him as a friend despite her feelings. Eve’s character was so well received that she was even given a special standalone episode on Prime Video.

Walton Goggins as Cecil Stedman

Walton Goggins is a major character in many critically acclaimed series, including Righteous Gems, Reasonable, Shieldand his distinguished and varied role in Sons of Anarchy. His character in Invincible, Cecil Stedman is a government agent who heads the Global Defense Agency. After he discovers that Omni-Man is responsible for killing the Guardians of the Globe, he takes the necessary measures in an attempt to prevent an imminent Viltrumite attack. Cecil also tries to convince Mark that the world needs a replacement Omni-Man to protect the planet; however, in the first season, everything remains without a final resolution.

Rex Splode (voiced by Jason Mantzoukas)

Jason-Mantzukas-Invincible

Jason Mantzoukas is a hilarious comedic character in many popular shows, most notably his recurring role in League and an amazing animated series Big mouth. He voices Rex Splode, another superhero who works with the Guardians of the Globe, and despite being gruff, he proves himself a team player when he helps begin cleaning up the aftermath of Omni-Man’s battle.

Zazie Beetz as Amber Bennett

Zazie Beetz is another great actress to join this cast, with an impressive recent portfolio of comic films including Joker And Deadpool 2. In Invincible, she plays Amber Bennett, Mark’s on-off girlfriend. She attends high school with the rest of the superheroes, although she has no powers and only learns more about the Guardian’s identity as the series’ first season comes to an end.

Sterling K. Brown as Angstrom Levy

Actor, Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Sterling K. Brown (This is us) joins Invincible in the second season, he will appear as the series’ next main antagonist, Angstrom Levy. His powers are rumored to include extremely high intelligence, as well as the ability to travel to other dimensions. His obvious rivalries with Omni-Man and Invincible suggest that he will have his own plans not yet revealed in the first season.

Additional composition

While not all characters have been revealed, the released cast list will include some other notable actors, including Peter Cullencredited as the voice of Optimus Prime in Transformers row, Calista Flockhart (Ally McBeal), Phil LaMarr (MADtv), Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black), Lea Thompson (Back to the Future), David Diggs (Through the snow), Luke McFarlane (Brothers), and more. When Season 2 episodes air, get ready to hear new voices joining the stellar cast.
