As soon as Shazam!: Wrath of the Gods closes its first weekend at the box office, Rachel Zegler took the opportunity to share new behind-the-scenes footage from the film. The actress can be seen dressed as Anthea when she played the daughter of Atlas in the DC sequel. Besides the fact that she looks like she’s having a lot of fun while filming. New Shazam Enemy Team (Zachary Levy) must clash before they can use strong magical powers in their quest for revenge.

Two years have passed in DC Extended Universe since Billy BatsonAsher Angel) was assigned to wield Shazam’s magic during the events of the first film. After a couple of awkward training sessions, Billy began to dominate his new abilities and decided to use them for good. This was the case until Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong) found out that someone was given the power that he had long wanted to have. After Sivana was rejected for the position of Champion, he became estranged from his family and has since become obsessed with the power of Shazam. Fortunately, Billy was able to find the necessary strength in himself to defeat the evil scientist.

This time around, the focus of the story is Shazameely, as the Vasquez children call themselves after they can all use the Wizard’s power (Djimon Hounsou). Billy is worried that he is approaching the age of eighteen because it will cause him to be excluded from the foster system and his beloved family. Dealing with this problem, he has to face the Daughters of Atlas, who are trying to steal all the powers because of their personal vendetta against the Wizard. When FreddieJack Dylan Grazer) is caught in the crossfire of conflict and endangered, everything becomes personal for Shazam and the rest of his siblings.

Musical magic on set Shazam!

During a recent interview with the editor-in-chief of Collider. Stephen WeintraubZegler and Liu open up about their experiences while filming Fury of the gods. The couple mentioned how Zachary Levi kept playing music between takes to keep the cast and crew dancing while everything was set up for the next shot. The singing and dancing also served to keep everyone awake and energized during the long hours in front of the camera. Zegler also talked about how the director of the film, David F. Sandbergreminded her of Steven Spielberg due to the way he approaches topics like family mixed with fantasy adventure in his storytelling.
