Samara weaving returns to the realm of horror as an exclusive via Deadline reveals a new image from Azrael, an upcoming film that puts an actor at the center of a bloody cinematic spectacle. The photo itself shows her character in the middle of a burning forest as she stands with scratches soaked in crimson red blood on her face. Whatever terrible threat she faces remains a mystery, but she seems to show no mercy.

While the image does not provide any context or additional details from the upcoming film, Deadline reports that Azrael focuses on a sorority set in a world where no one can speak, which follows a young woman who has escaped from confinement. After her recapture, Azrael, the main character played by Weaving, must be sacrificed to appease an ancient evil in the desert, from which she must try to survive. With a potentially exciting premise, Azrael can present viewers with a terrifying and gripping story when it eventually debuts.
