16. Domino (2005)

Scott’s first trip behind the camera was in 1983 when he filmed David Bowie, Catherine Deneuveand Susan Sarandon in an erotic thriller Hunger. 13. Fan (1996)
This film is about a professional baseball player for the San Francisco Giants (Wesley Snipes) and restless person (Robert DeNiro) who becomes an obsessed player never had a chance. Between its odd premise of a passionate fan who crosses the line and becomes a stalker of Snipes and De Niro’s less-than-memorable performances, this was one of Scott’s least successful films. 12. Revenge (1990)

10. Taking Pelham 123 (2009)
Scott teamed up with Denzel Washington for the fourth time they both did Capture of Pelham 123 together in 2009. John Travolta also plays Dennis “Ryder” Ford, who hijacks a New York subway train and goes tête-à-tête with Washington’s character, Metropolitan Transportation Authority dispatcher Walter Garber. Ford demands $10 million within 60 minutes or he will crash the train, killing hundreds of passengers. It is based on the John Godey novel of the same name and received mixed reviews.
9. Days of Thunder (1990)
This was the second time Scott worked with the leading Hollywood actor of the time, Tom Cruise. The high-octane thriller about fictional NASCAR badass Cole Trickle also stars a young Nicole Kidman, Robert Duvall and Michael Rooker (guardians of the galaxy, Walking corpses). This was the second time Scott teamed up with Cruise, hoping to repeat the success they had achieved together five years earlier in a film that appears later on this list. It was another huge hit, although critics were lukewarm about the story of life in the fast lane.
8. The Last Boy Scout (1991)
This is arguably one of Scott’s most confusing storylines in film. Bruce Willis a former secret service agent who teams up with a former football star (Damon Wayans) to find out who killed Wayans’ girlfriend (Halle Berry) who was a pole dancer ready to expose Noble Willingham as a professional football mogul who is trying to bribe the people in Washington to pass a law that would make football betting legal. Got it all? Somehow Scott makes an above-average film that zigzags and zigzags towards some coherence.
7. Unstoppable (2010)
We are now entering the upper echelon of Tony Scott’s filmography. unstoppable was his last project before his death and the fifth and last time he directed Denzel Washington.
