FROM Rousseau Brothers gray man currently streaming on Netflix, I recently spoke to Billy Bob Thornton as well as Julia Butters about creating an action-packed thriller. In an interview, they talked about working with Joe as well as Anthony Russo, and that people would be surprised to know about the making of the film.
Also, I asked Thornton if we would ever see his original director’s cut of the film. All beautiful horses based Cormac McCarthynovel. In case you’re not aware, Thornton had a much longer version of the film, but Harvey Weinstein forced him to release a two-hour film. Matt Damon previously talked about the shorter version, saying, “You can’t cut 35% of a movie and expect it to be the same movie.” Thornton told me:
“I don’t know if it will ever happen, but I would like it to happen. Now there’s a possibility that the new guard is in a position to allow us to do that, so I’ve always thought about that. So it’s really possible, and if you’ve heard Daniel Lanoise’s original music, it’s pretty impressive.”

AT gray man, Ryan Gosling plays CIA operative Court Gentry, also known as Sierra Six, and after a failed mission, he is hunted around the world by Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans) who will stop at nothing to take it away. Filled with cool and inventive action sequences, gray man definitely worth your time. The film also stars Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Rare Jean Page, Wagner Moura as well as Alfre Woodard.
The script for the film was written by Joe Russo. Christopher Markus as well as Stephen McFeely. gray man produced by Russos, Joe Roth, Jeffrey Kirshenbaum, Mike Larocca, as well as Chris Castaldi. BILLY BOB THORNTON: Well, we’ll see. I don’t know if it will ever happen, but I would like it to happen. THORNTON: Of course.
An individual question for you. So you’ve worked with Tarantino, the Russo brothers, and now Steven Spielberg. Have you thought about playing the lottery or doing something like… You know what I mean? Because it’s incredible.
JULIA BUTTERS: Thank you very much. Yeah. I don’t even think it’s real. Sometimes I just don’t even understand what’s going on, but I would love to do a biopic or play Audrey Hepburn. Something like that. I would like to do it. I hope it happens in the future, but working with the Russo brothers has been such an incredible experience, not only because there are two of them, but because they feed off each other’s energy in a way I’ve never seen before. . I expected from them, as from brothers, something like, no, I do not agree. I wanted it to be like this, but no, they are exactly the same, but so different. I don’t even know if this makes any sense, but it’s actually incredible to watch them work. A person will have an idea, and he will go to tell it. Whoever just said will have an idea and it’s really incredible how their minds work together to create something so beautiful.
Ryan Gosling basically fights everyone in this movie except the two of you, and I’m just curious, during filming, we were a bit disappointed that you didn’t have a fight scene with Ryan. Kidding.
BUTTERS: Oh yes.
THORNTON: Well, I had a verbal altercation with him.
I joke about it, but I love learning about what goes on behind the scenes of making films. For each of you, what do you think will soon become a fan gray man Would you be surprised to learn about the actual making of the film?
BUTTERS: What do you think?
THORNTON: Well, I guess because it was so tense and there was so much action and it was a big movie with a lot of moving parts, I think the mood among the crew and the cast everywhere we filmed from Long Beach, to France, to Prague, everywhere, was very relaxed. I think it’s one thing that might surprise people that you think this set was just chaotic when it was actually quite the opposite.
BUTTERS: Yes. They spoke very highly of staying Zen, and I remember Joe specifically telling me, “Whatever you worry about is not a big deal. We’ll fix it. Just stay zen. Stay Zen.”
