With the expectation of continued construction for James Cameron upcoming movie, Avatar: Path of WaterSeveral new LEGO sets have been revealed ahead of San Diego Comic Con through The Brick Fan, which offers stunning recreations of scenes from the first movie, as well as providing some unique and colorful sets.
The first set, titled Avatar Neytiri and Thanator vs. AMP Suit Quaritch, is a re-creation of the final showdown seen in the first movie. Includes Neytiri, who was played in the film Zoe Saldanhaand Colonel Miles Quaritch, played by Stephen Lang. Along with the figures of the two characters, the set includes a buildable AMP suit piloted by Quaritch and Thanator, with whom Neytiri was linked in the film. The set also includes some plants that glow in the dark, replicating the bioluminescence that audiences fell in love with in the original film. The set consists of 560 pieces and will be available to collectors for a retail price of $39.99.
The second LEGO set, Avatar Jake and Neytiri’s Banshee’s First Flight also recreates the iconic scene from the first set. Avatar movie. LEGO set includes Neytiri and Jake Sully figures, who were played in the movie Sam Worthington, in the form of his avatar. This set includes 2 buildable banshees that can hover over the included floating mountains. The $59.99 LEGO set contains 572 pieces and will be available to builders ages 9 and up.
The third and largest set includes some of the human tech from the movie with the LEGO Avatar Floating Mountains: Site 26 & RDA Samson set. The set includes five figures of characters from the film, such as Jake in the form of a human and avatar, Norm Spellman in the form of an avatar played in the film Joel David MooreDr. Grace Augustine, played by Sigourney Weaverand Trudy, who plays Michelle Rodriguez, with the Samson helicopter she built, which she flew in the original film. Along with the Samson helicopter, the set also includes a portion of Site 26 where the characters live while exploring Pandora, with some additional planetary flora builds. The set also includes a direhorse that characters can ride. Retailing at $89.99, the set contains 887 pieces for collectors to collect.
And finally, the LEGO BrickHeadz Jake Sully Avatar and Avatar Set, featuring Jake as both a human and an Avatar. The set consists of 246 items and will be available for purchase for $19.99. The new LEGO builds come with the Toruk Makto and Tree of Souls LEGO Avatar set, which was unveiled earlier this summer and will be available for fan purchase on October 1st. It is not yet known if LEGO will introduce any sets that will be related to the newest movie. , but with new builds from the first Avatar, builders young and old alike have a new reason to return to Pandora’s world.
