The restoration of two trading Sundays per month is one of the requirements of the Third Way. The coalition’s economic congress took place on Saturday.
At today’s Third Way congress in Warsaw, the coalition of the Polish People’s Party and Poland 2050 presented their economic demands. One of them is the restoration of two trading Sundays per month.
– We will cancel the absurd ban on Sunday trading. We will introduce two trading Sundays per month. This is our guarantee, said Poland 2050 leader Szymon Chołownia.
The head of Poland 2050 emphasized that the restoration of two commercial Sundays per month will contribute to respect for workers’ rights.
Let us recall that two trading Sundays per month (the first and the last) were in effect from March to December 2018, that is, immediately after the introduction of the law restricting Sunday trading. The following year, shopping could only be done on the last Sunday of the month, and from 2020, Sunday shopping was limited to just seven per year (including at the beginning and end of holidays or before Easter and Christmas). .
