Dino is preparing to open an online store? The company is currently recruiting an e-commerce specialist who will work from the headquarters in Krotoshin.
In 2019 Lidl opened an online store, in 2022 Biedronka decided to do it. The choice of goods in both stores is much wider than in stationary stores: the “home” section is developed, i.e. various types of jewelry, dishes, textiles…
Dino wants to open an online store?
Dino, one of the fastest growing commercial brands and, it is worth emphasizing, completely Polish, is also planning to open an online store. Its founder is Tomasz Bernacki, who has been on the Wprost list of the richest people for many years - and, in fact, that’s all we can say about him, because he protects his privacy to such an extent that the media does not even know what he looks like.
He probably still lives in Krotoszyn (Greater Poland Voivodeship), where the company’s headquarters are located. The company is currently recruiting for the position of e-commerce specialist, whose task will be to implement and operate the sales system. The Wiadomości Handlowe service notes that it is not known whether the company “wants to create an e-commerce system for internal needs or can build an online store for retail network customers.”
“It is not known what type of e-commerce Dino will use. Carrefour, Auchan and Stokrotka have created their own online grocery stores that complete the offer. In turn, Lidl and Biedronka launched their own industrial stores, which offer not only the assortment available in stores, but also many other goods.
Pepco left the online store
Not all brands have succeeded in launching an online store. At the end of last year, Pepco completed (one year later) testing online sales. More than 2,000 pieces could be purchased from the authorized store on the Allegro platform. products - clothes, shoes, kitchen utensils and everything else that is sold daily in ordinary stores.
Within a few months, it became clear that Pepco’s customers preferred brick-and-mortar stores. “In total, such buyers make more than 28 million transactions per month in our European stores,” the Pepco press service said.
