The purpose of the Senior plus program is to increase the activity and participation in social life of older people. Local governments can apply for co-financing to set up or operate day homes and clubs for the elderly. The annual budget of the program is PLN 60 million.

Stakeholders until Thursday

Minister of Family and Social Policy Marlena Malong recalls that until January 5, that is, until next Thursday, an open call for proposals is held within the framework of the latest version of the program. – Communities, poviats and voivodeships can apply for co-financing for the establishment and operation of institutions for the elderly. I strongly recommend that you do so. Together we can do a lot of good for the elderly, create cozy and safe places for them to spend active time - emphasizes Malong, quoted in the ministry’s communiqué.

The Senior plus program consists of two parts - modules.

In the first module, the creation of new facilities will be co-financed:

• the grant can be a maximum of 400,000 PLN in the case of Day Houses

• 200,000 can be obtained to create clubs for pensioners. subsidy in zlotys

• up to 80% can be financed in this way. the total cost of the task.

Co-financing of existing facilities

In the second module, you can apply for co-financing the operation of existing facilities (in this case, the subsidy cannot exceed 50% of the total cost of the task):

• up to PLN 400 per month for one place in Daily Senior Home plus

• in turn, the maintenance of one seat in the Senior Plus Club can be subsidized up to PLN 200 per month.

The program allows co-financing of projects “for one year”, that is, implemented and completed only in 2023.

Proposals must be submitted electronically in the Grant Service Generator (GOD), available on the website das.mrips.gov.pl, by 5 January this year. until then 16.00. The results of the competition will be announced no later than March 17, 2023.
