Hyundai Motor Poland has unveiled pricing for the new generation Kona city SUV, which is now available in Poland. The upgraded model is available with two drive options: ICE and hybrid, with N Line sports versions available for each.
For Polish customers, petrol variants are now available with a 1.0 T-GDi 120 hp engine. with manual or automatic transmission and front-wheel drive (2WD), as well as 1.6 T-GDi 198 hp. with manual or automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. front wheel drive (2WD) or all wheel drive (4WD). The HEV variant is available with a 1.6 GDI direct injection petrol engine mated to a 141 hp electric motor. Both options are available in four trim levels: Smart, Executive, Platinum and N Line.
Prices for the new KONA model in the internal combustion engine version start from PLN 110,900 and in the hybrid version from PLN 134,400.
The new Kona is available in 11 colors in the petrol version, including the new Serenity White, special Meta Blue, Denim Blue, Mirage Green, Amazon Gray and 8 colors in the hybrid version, including the new Soultronic Orange, Meta Blue, Denim Blue. , Mirage Green. Mirage Green Special paint is offered at no extra charge, while other metallic and pearlescent paints are offered at a price of PLN 2500. An additional Phantom Black roof costs PLN 2,600.
Design changes
The HEV variant has an upper and lower active air intake (AAF), while the internal combustion (ICE) variant uses an upper active air intake to improve the drag coefficient. External active air intakes give the ICE and HEV versions an EV-like appearance while improving the aerodynamics of both variants.
The motorsport-inspired N Line variant features a more aggressive front and rear end with sportier bumpers, twin tailpipes and silver side skirts. Additional options include a black roof, wing spoiler and special 18-inch N Line alloy wheels. Inside, the N Line variant is equipped with metal pedals and a shift lever with the N sub-brand logo.
Bigger and smarter interior space
The all-new Kona also offers class-leading space with a 60mm longer wheelbase, 77mm more legroom and 11mm more headroom in the second row compared to the previous generation. The shoulder width of the second row is 1402 mm, which is also the largest in its class. The model’s rigid seats, just 85mm thick, also provide more room for second-row passengers.
Safe driving systems
The all-new Kona is equipped with various advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as Forward Collision Avoidance System (FCA), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Blind Spot Assist (BCA), Intelligent Speed Limit Alert (ISLA). Driver Attention Monitoring (DAW) and Blind Spot Vision (BVM). The equipment also includes various features to make driving easier, such as Intelligent Cruise Control with Stop&Go function, Lane Keeping Assist (LFA) and Road Assistance (HDA).
